Hi Stampers,
I just love this new Medallion stamp! There are so many wonderful things you can do with it on your cards and scrapbook pages!
You'll also notice that my newest favorite size card is 5 1/4" square, not sure why, maybe because it's a bit bigger canvas to work on...anyway...the base of this card is whisper white, with a front layer of Crushed Curry (one of the new in colors). I stamped the Medallion (page 133..item # 115223) with Crushed Curry ink on whisper white, then ran it through my Big Shot with the Scallop Circle die. I layered it onto the Crushed Curry layer with stampin' dimensionals, then added a white flower from the Pretties Kit (page 178..item # 109114) and a flower brad from the Designer Brads (page 179..item # 112579)
This card is the standard size of 5.5" x 4.25". I've stamped the Medallion in Always Artichoke ink on Very Vanilla cardstock, and used one of our Jumbo Brads (page 179..item # 112533) in the center. This is layered on a piece of Rich Razzleberry cardstock with ribbon wrapped around, and then layered onto the base which is Always Artichoke. Want to know how I got that color ribbon??? Check out page 182 for the new 1/2" Polka-Dot Grosgrain ribbon...comes in all 6 of the new In Colors...well I didn't want polka dots on my card, so I just turned the ribbon over..and Voila!!! I had Rich Razzleberry ribbon! Cool eh!!!
For this card I stamped the Medallion with Rich Razzleberry ink (off centered a bit) on whisper white cardstock, popped a white jumbo brad just like the last card in the center, and a little sentiment in the bottom corner. It's layered on Always Artichoke and the base card is Rich Razzleberry.
I cased this card from another blogger friend. That's how much I loved this layout. The base of the card is Crushed Curry, with the medallion samped in Soft Suede, and a piece of Razzleberry Lemonade Designer paper (page 162..item # 115675) for the front layer. Then I wrapped a piece of the soft suede polka-dot ribbon around the card and used the NEW Modern Label punch ( page 187..item # 116630) for the sentiment!
I was selling these cards last weekend at the Telegraph Cove Craft Fair on the boardwalk, and they were going like crazy!

Debbie, that first card with the Medallion is BEAUTIFUL with the crushed curry! I also like the large 5-1/4" square size along with the large scallop. I'm going to have to case that one.
